Recommended restaurants for dining and tequila in Atlanta



This restaurant is a go-to spot for a range of authentic meals paired with delicious craft margaritas. This family-friendly restaurant is a short 17-minute drive from Truist Park, where the festival will take place. They also offer delivery, take-out options, and curbside pick-up if you don’t feel like having a sit-down dinner.



Mezcalito’s puts their own twist on the classic Mexican dishes. All of their meals are created from Acapulco recipes, transporting you instantly to Mexico with local flavors. Their varied array of cocktails are also made with the greatest care, making their margaritas, served with hand-squeezed limes and lemons, very popular. This restaurant is a 23-minute drive from the festival and is the ideal spot if you want to impress a date with a romantic meal on a scenic patio.



This Oaxacan inspired restaurant offers Mexican cuisine such as chiles poblanos, tacos de cochinillos and its signature pulpo al carbón served with house-made salsa veracruzana. Not only do they have fine dining and tequila shots at this restaurant, but they also offer the most extensive mezcal collection in Atlanta. From Truist Park, this restaurant is only a 16-minute drive and offers a refreshing ambiance and live music on occasion.


Pure Taqueria Inman Park


Pure Taqueria has two amazing locations near the Festival grounds. Only a 20-minute drive from the festival, you will find the Pure Taqueria in Inman Park, and after only a 22-minute drive you will find yourself at the Pure Taqueria in Brookhaven. Perhaps one of the best pairs out there is tequila and tacos. You can find both here. Here you can enjoy a new take on the authentic Mexican Taqueria. Spoil yourself with some amazing creatively authentic Mexican cuisine complemented by delicious Margaritas.


The Super Pan


For an easy treat, go to this sandwich bar, conveniently located within the festival grounds. Here you can also enjoy innovative takes on classic Latino bakery food while sampling all of the delicious drinks at the festival.


Jimmy’z kitchen


This contemporary American-Latin restaurant can be found only 1.8 miles away from Truist park. They offer healthy and delicious meals along with an exciting range of Tequilas and cocktails. Pop in to try one of their delicious Espresso martinis.


What are the best restaurant pairings for tequila or mezcal

Some dishes work surprisingly well with tequila and mezcal. Of course, some dishes work best with specific tequila, but playing around with different pairings is sure to give you a customized experience you won’t forget.


Some dishes chefs might pair with tequila are Tacos, Raw fish, Grilled seafood like squid or prawns, A wide range of vegetables especially asparagus, avocados (technically fruit), green peppers and tomatillos (silver), and corn (reposado).
